Bauchi State Governor Mohammed Abdullahi Abubakar has won the Governorship primary election and emerged as the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the 2019 gubernatorial election in Bauchi State with a total votes of 75,086 votes.
Abubakar defeated other three aspirants: ex Ministers of Police Affairs, Dr Ibrahim Yakubu Lame who scores 3,988 votes, Professor Muhammed Ali Pate 2886 votes and Captain Muhammad Bala Jibrin who scored 2539.
The chairman, APC electoral Panel of the primaries in Bauchi, Professor Ahmed Bakori Mohammed declared Governor Abubakar as the winner of the election.
He said that 87,312 votes casted and they recorded 1004 invalid votes.
