Governor Buni in Katsina for projects commissioning

Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State has arrived Katsina for the commissioning of some infrastructure projects executed by the Katsina State Government.

Governor Buni was received at Umaru Musa Yar’Adua International Airport by Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda.

From the airport, both governors proceeded to Bin Fodio Mosque, Modoji, Katsina, where they observed the Friday prayers.

Governor Buni will inaugurate the upgraded Ingawa–Shargalle Road, one of the key infrastructure projects slated for commissioning on Saturday.

Other projects include the dualised Yandaki-Kofar Sauri road, and the smart secondary school in Radda.

Two other governors, that of Sokoto and Kwara, are also expected in Katsina for the event.

On the entourage of Governor Radda were the Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Engr. Muttaqa Rabe Darma; Senator representing Funtua Zone, Muntari Dandutse; APC National Legal Adviser, Barr. Murtala Aliyu Kankia; Chief of Staff to the Governor, Abdulkadir Mamman Nasir; the governor’s Principal Private Secretary, Abdullahi Aliyu Turaji; and the Coordinator Auda-NEPAD, Hon. Jabiru Abdullahi Tsauri.
