Kaduna State Governor, Sen. Uba Sani has performed the groundbreaking ceremony of the 14.8 access road from Dambusha junction to other communities in Chikun LGA.
Speaking during the groundbreaking ceremony held in Kafanchan, yesterday, Gov. Sani stressed that the road was selected and prioritized because of the urgent need of the people around the community.
According to him, “This important road, is the latest road project we have taken to address our road infrastructure deficit to bridge the Urban-Rural divide and improve the living conditions of the people.”
While expressing his delight for the project, he disclosed that since the inception of his administration in 2023, groundbreaking ceremonies of over 60 roads, totaling over 780 kilometers have been executed.
“Some of these roads have been completed and commissioned, while some are currently in advanced stages of completion.
“In addition, we have ensured that contractors are adequately funded to meet project deadlines, especially during the rainy season.
“We prioritize selected roads that connect farming communities to provide social and economic benefits.”
