Ahead of the 2023 forthcoming general elections, A Non-governmental organization, Bar and Bench Group under the leadership of Chief Ogwu James(SAN), has endorsed Comrade Okai Austin, the leading candidate in the Dekina/Bassa federal House of Representatives.
The group also endorsed Adejoh Sam Odiniya, who is seeking to represent Olamaboro in the State House of Assembly under the platform of the People Democratic Party candidate.
Speaking at the ceremony entitled; “Icons of democracy” Chief Ogwu James (SAN), described the duo as burning golds gearing to massively hit the Igala Kingdom.
He further described Usman Okai Austin, as a rugged activist who has over the years demonstrated his tenacity in Kogi State and Nigeria at large.
While praising Adejoh Sam Odiniya, he said, “He is the character every sane society should crave to have at the helm of affairs, expressing his readiness to support such aspiration even if it’s under another political party”.
“We’re here today because we believe in what these people can be, I will not only stand by them during the electioneering but also wheel my knowledge and resources to their end should anyone dares to rig the election next year, “Cheif Ogwu said
