Group lauds El- Rufai’s free education policy

The Arewa Initiative for Good Governances has landed Kaduna State Government free education programme which has brought back many out of school children to the classroom.
The was contained in a statement signed by Tanko Wusono and Mohammed Bello Mohammed, convener and National President of the group respectively.
The statement added that, the provision of free education for all pupils in the state up to secondary school level, is highly commended as it has reduced the number of children roaming the streets of Kaduna during school hours.
The group further stated that the introduction of Education Marshall in the state by Governor El Rufai is a feat other state governors should emulate.

to promote good governance and exemplary leadership across the nineteen Northern states and Abuja, stressed that
Mallam Nasir Ahmad El-Rufa’I’s policy on health, free medical services to youths and women, payment of the new national minimum wage to both serving workers and pensioners are areas that the Government scored high with room for improvement.
“We commend Kaduna State Government drive in restoration of pipe borne water to the ancient city of Zaria and the ongoing Kaduna Urban Renewal Project which has of recent turned Kaduna City centre to a Mega City.
“We also commended the governor for turning around the internal revenue generation profile of the state from a Meager Ten Billion Naira per annum to Forty-Four Billion Naira per annum
“ We lauded the role played by the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Honourable Mohammed Sani Abdullahi Dattijo an expert in sustainable development goals for the success,” the group said.
