As the underground race for who emerged as the new Chairman of the Association of Local Government of Nigeria (ALGON) in Kaduna State Chapter Commerce, a group under the auspices of Southern Kaduna Youth Stakeholders Forum (SKYSF) has urged the State Governor Senator Uba Sani to consider supporting one of the chairmen elected from Southern Kaduna (Zone 3) to clinch the position of the Chairman of the Association of Local Government of Nigeria (ALGON) in the State.
This was contained in a statement by the Chairman of the Forum, Hon. Joseph Tanko Chori, and made available to the media yesterday.
The statement stated that in the past and present, Southern Kaduna people have produced many competent chairmen who are deeply invested in the development of their communities and the state at large.
The statement further stated that It is essential for the region to be represented at the highest levels of local governance, ensuring that their unique challenges and perspectives are adequately addressed.
