The Northern Monitors Forum has nominated the Plateau state Governor Solomon Lalong as the best performing governor in the north in the year 2017.
The National Coordinator of the Forum, Engineer Sani DanBorno
disclosed this in a statement made available to the media in kaduna over the weekend.
The statement added that since assumption of office Governor Lalong has embarked on dialogue among the various ethnic groups in the state and this has restored peace to the state that hitherto in crisis.
The restoration of peace the statement disclosed had make way for infrastructures development.
“Local government areas in Plateau are now enjoying autonomous as funds received from the federation account are passed to them without any difficulties
“That is why many projects have been completed by the local government “In view of the above we are we felt that honour should be giving to him by awarding him with the award on January 28th in kaduna”
Engineer Dan Borno also commended President Muhamadu Buhari for awarding the Abuja Kano road this is a project that is overdue but we are happy it is happening now.
