Group partners PPMC to curb vandals

A group under the auspices of Youth Crime Prevention Initiative (YCPI) has promised to partner with Petroleum Product Marketing Company (PPMC), Kaduna Zone in its effort to curb the area of pipe

lines vandals and protect its facilities.

The group’s Director–General Patriot Prince E.O Opara  Oscar disclosed this while presenting an award for Excellence and Patriotism to Engr. Ajibo James, Kaduna Area Manager of the company.

The group disclosed that the award is in recognition of the role of the NNPC’s effort in dousing the activities of crime in its immediate host communities and environs by engaging the youth positively in

achieving their potentials for the good of the society and the nation in general.

Mr. Oscar reiterated that the award is geared towards encouraging the corporation in its fight against crime, adding that the youth organization is a willing partner in protecting national infrastructure such as NNPC pipelines in Kaduna state.

“Crime prevention is everyone’s business, especially the youth who are the future leaders, saying whatsoever that belongs to Nigeria belongs to the youth,” he said.
