A Group under the auspices of Coalition of Nigerian Civil Society Organization (CNSO) said 1.3 million Nigerians have so far applied for the N-Power Batch C, saying100 applications were registered per second.
The Coalition disclosed this during a press conference held in kaduna yesterday.
According to the group, the feedback received from youths across the country has been very positive and the Ministry has remained responsive to all the minor challenges arising from the registration while also giving regular updates via its various social media platforms.

Oyeniyi SPEAKER Odua Youth Parliament,commend the Honourable Minister and her team for successfully flagging off the Batch C Npower commended the Honourable Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development services Hajiya Sadiya Umar Farouq and her team for successfully flagging off the Batch C Npower enrolment exercise.
The statement added that the nation is undergoing storm and stress occasioned by the Covid-19 pandemic that is changing the face of human society and it’s system from health care to education and indeed the economy.
“In the middle of this challenges is a woman working on a daily basis to cushion the impact of covid19 through unprecedented humanitarian interventions, mitigate effects on human and natural disaster while also attending to the plight of the disable.
“No reform has ever occurred without resistance either from pockets of establishment benefitting from the previous unworkable or unsustainable system or from the opposition that has vowed to castigate all the good policies and programs of the President Muhammadu Buhari Administration.
“We also salute the courage of the Hajiya sadiya Umar Farouq to reform the N-Power program by introducing technology and creative skills aquisition components into the program.
“This would undoubtly build a skilled youth population that do not have insist on white collar jobs to earn a living. “
