Group trains health workers on covid-19 vaccine, communication mgt

Planned Parenthood Federation Nigeria has trained health workers from primary healthcare centers in FCT on the new uptake of COVID-19 vaccine and value-based communication that can make their community members take up the vaccine.

A 3-days  training was organized to ensure equitable access and uptake of the covid-19 vaccine by strengthening facilities and sensitizing community members, addressing myths and misconceptions around the vaccine.

PPFN Access project Coordinator, Dr. George  Swomen, while speaking with journalists on the essence of the training, in Abuja, yesterday, said training health care workers is part of the key activities of PPFN as an organization.
