A Group under the auspices of Buhari Youth Congress for Change (BYC) has said it is volunteering to raise the sum of N27 million to purchase the Presidential form for General Muhammadu Buhari, to enable him contest the 2015 Presidential election on the platform of All Progressive Congress (APC).
Speaking while addressing a press conference in Kaduna, the North East Coordinator of the group, Adamu Nguru, called on General Buhari to forge ahead with his Presidential ambition, adding that though the group has volunteered to raise the funds to purchase the form, that would depend on the acceptance of General Buhari to contest.
It said the former Head of State remains the only candidate who can turn around the misfortune that had befallen the nation.
“BYC is calling on General Buhari to consider the wishes and hopes of Nigerians on his declaration day to declare his interest of contesting and not stepping down. We are appealing to him to consider the current situation of Nigeria and Nigerians and we stands strongly to achieve our gold because Nigeria found itself today in a critical situation and we believed that you would be the solution of the problems Insha Allah,” it said.
The group further cautioned the APC, if it needs continuous support from Nigerians, which will lead to its success in next coming election, let every candidate step down for Buhari.
