Gunmen have abducted a former Accountant General of Bauchi State Government, Alhaji Bappa Tilde in his residence in Bauchi
The Bauchi state police Command Public Relations Officer, PPRO DSP Haruna Mohammed yesterday said ” I heard about it, but I am yet to get the detail”
Family members of Tilde told newsmen that he was abducted in Bauchi over the weekend at Nuru Quarters on his way to his house after he finished night prayer before he reached home.
They said they reported the matter to the Police and other security agencies and they intensified prayers and appeal to his abductors to temper Justice with mercy and return their over 70 years old father back home.
