Gunmen kidnap Immigration Service PRO in Edo, as residents’ flee

Gunmen have allegedly kidnapped the Public Relations Officer of the Nigerian Immigration Service, Edo State Command, Mrs Bridget Esene.
Highly dependable security sources revealed that the hoodlums trailed and ambushed her in Ikhueniro Community, Ikpoba-Okha Local Government Area of Edo State.
Helpless residents in the area who could not behold the sight of the gunshots, fled into the bushes during the incident that lasted for few minutes.
A family member of the hostage told our Correspondent that Isene was forced out from a car on her way to church on Sunday morning.
“A church in Ikhuniro is where she worship every Sunday. We are aware”, the source hinted our Correspondent menacingly.
Following the report of Mrs Bridget Esene got to a Pentecostal church in Ikhueniro Community, the worshippers, embarked on a marathon prayer session, calling for God’s intervention.
Efforts to reach the Spokesman of the Nigeria police Force, Edo State Command, SP Chidi Nwabuzor, were unsuccessful as at Press time.
Nigeria is fast drifting into a Country where kidnapping, a major criminal enterprise that makes billions of naira yearly, according to investigation.
