Unknown gunmen have reportedly killed the immediate past chairman of Ugbori community in Warri South Local Government Area of Delta State, Prince Godwin Metie.
It was gathered that the community leader was shot dead at about 9pm on Monday.
Metie was reportedly attacked at Merogun, a volatile area of Warri, Delta commercial city.
It was further gathered that the deceased was reportedly waylaid by masks-wearing hoodlums who opened fire on him.
Sources alleged that the victim gave up the ghost at the scene of the incident.
Similarly, a bricklayer simply identified as Uruese has been reportedly murdered by gunmen suspected to be cultists.
Uruese, also fondly called Iron Monkey, was killed at Orerokpe in Okpe council area of the state last Friday.
The deceased, who lived around a street close to the council’s secretariat, was shot through the window while sleeping.
