Residents of Kinkinau GRA in Tudun Wada of Kaduna metropolis were thrown in shock and confusion, Tuesday, when suspected gunmen, shot and killed an Accountant with the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE), Malam Muhammad Adamu, who resided in the area.
The victim was killed around 9 pm, Tuesday night.
It was gathered that the gunmen tried to gain entrance into the victim’s residence and pointed guns at him but he screamed, making them to shoot him.
“We didn’t know the actual number of the gunmen that shot him. We only heard him telling his younger brother, don’t open the gate. Then we heard a gunshot. When we came out they had left,” a resident of the area who does not want his name in print said.
The victim was buried around 9:30 am Wednesday, at Bachama Road cemetery, Tudun Wada.
Contacted the state Police Command Public Relations’ Officer, SP Aminu Lawan could not be reached on his phone as he didn’t answer his calls.
