Gwagwalada DPO ready to fight criminals

The Divisional Police Officer (DPO) in charge of Gwagwalada Area Council Command, in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Mr. Patrick Daaor, has expressed the readiness of his leadership to intensified fight against criminals in the area and its environs.

Daaor, who disclosed this while speaking during his conferment with merit awards of visionary detective as well as visionary Icon by the management of Orator Weekly newspaper in Gwagwalada, also said his leadership would not hesitate to partner with the communities for the sake of security in the area.

He pointed out that the men of police had not relented in their efforts to fight the criminals whenever the information got to them, while calling on the people to provide useful information to the police that will lead to the arrest of the criminals.

Commenting on the awards, the DPO thanked the management of the newspaper for the honour done to him.

Performing the ceremony, the managing editor of the newspaper, Mr. Nasiru Oseni, said that the two awards being bestowed on the DPO were based on his contributions towards improving security in Gwagwalada.

He urged the DPO to see the awards as the motivation to always gear towards fighting crime in the interest of the people residents in Gwagwalada and its environs.
