The newly sworn-in Chairman of the Gwagwalada Phone Sellers Association (GPSA), Mr. Sagir Muhammed Sani, has appealed to the Executive Chairman of Gwagwalada Area Council, Hon. Mohammed Kasim, to allocate a plot of land for the construction of a dedicated phone market.
Speaking to journalists following the inauguration of the association’s new executive committee, Sani emphasized that a centralized market would significantly boost internal revenue generation for the Area Council.
He also reaffirmed the group’s commitment to supporting the local administration and maintaining security.
Sani highlighted the association’s ongoing anti-crime efforts, noting that executives regularly apprehend suspected phone thieves and hand them over to the Gwagwalada Police Division.
The GPSA currently represents approximately 500 members operating across the Gwagwalada Area Council.
Sani urged the newly elected leadership team and general members to maintain unity and collaboration to advance the association’s goals.
