Hajj 2019: NAHCON moves Kano, Gombe, Katsina pilgrims to Mecca

The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has moved over 16, 000 Nigerian pilgrims from the city of Madinah to Mecca as at Monday 29, 2019 in continuation of their Hajj ritual.
A breakdown of the figures obtained by our correspondent from the NAHCON office in Madinah shows that Gombe state contingents top those already in the Holy city of Mecca with 560 pilgrims, followed by those from Katsina, with 557 that arrived the city on Monday.
Pilgrims from Ogun state in Mecca has risen to 544, while Kano and Oyo followed with 542 and 431 respectively, with Sokoto having 430 in the Holy land.
Meanwhile, the NAHCON Coordinator in Madinah, Alhaji Ahmed Maigari, told reporters that an “expected arrival of the FCT contingents aboard two batches of flights on Tuesday July 30th will increase the number of Nigerian pilgrims that have arrived in Madinah to 26,000.”
