Hajj: Bauchi assures on adequate pilgrims welfare

Bauchi State Government has assured that it made adequate arrangements for the intending pilgrims welfare, safety, accommodation and transportation, and called on them to be good ambassadors of the state while in the Saudi Arabia.
The State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed stated this yesterday at his farewell message to the intending pilgrims held at Multipurpose Indoor Sports Bauchi.
Senator Bala Muhammad announced the donation of 300 riyal to Intending Pilgrims to Saudi Arabia from the state.
He said the development was part of his administration’s determination to ensure the welfare of the state pilgrims in addition to the earlier reduction of 20 thousand naira from the hajj fare.
Governor Bala Mohammed appealed to the intending pilgrims to pray for his administration to overcome the challenges facing the state especially in the areas of poverty and unemployment.
The Chairman of the 2019 Hajj Commitee who is the State Deputy Governor, Senator Baba Tela assured the governor that the committee would work tirelessly for the success of hajj exercise in the state.
The Acting Executive Secretary, State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Kashim Dallami Shall disclosed that 1995 intending pilgrims are expected to perform the exercise from the state.
Alhaji Dallami Shall described the support given to the board by Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed as the first of its kind in the history of the board.
