Health: Candido breaks ground for Karamajiji Clinic

The Chairman of Abuja Municipal Area Council, Abdullahi Adamu Candido has laid the foundation of a Primary Health Care Clinic at Karamajij community, a rural settlement along Airport road, in Abuja, the nation’s capital.
Candido while performing the foundation laying, explained that the construction of the health clinic was in fulfilment of his administration’s drive to meet the community’s dire need for health facility that will take care health needs of people especially women and children.
He assured that with the performance of foundation laying , the construction work commences immediately from now till the end of this month.
The AMAC boss, who described the request for such intervention by the people in the area as a great opportunity for the council to improve lives.
According to him, “That is why under my administration, I discovered that it is good for me to come up with this idea so that the people of Karamajiji will benefit from it.
“This is because as a government it is good to fulfill peoples demand in order to render good governance.
“But, I want you to know that there is no fund, but we will try our best, so any little fund that comes our way, we will be using it to execute peoples oriented project like this.”
