As Monaco of France attacker, Henry Onyekuru and Torino of Italy defender, Ola Aina have all been ruled out of the high profile Brazil vs Nigeria clash on Sunday.
Super Eagles forward Henry Onyekuru will be out for the next two weeks after getting injured in training for French the Ligue 1 strugglers
The Nigerian is down with a hamstring injury which occurred prior to Monaco’s league match against Montpellier which they lost 3-1. Monaco are 16th on the log after winning just two of their nine matches.
Up till now the striker is searching for his first goal for the Principality side that he joined from premier league side Everton who had loaned him to Galatasaray in Turkey.
Similarly, Ola Aina has been declared unavailable to play in the Brazil versus Nigeria friendly scheduled to hold in Singapore on Sunday due to injury.
The Nigeria Football Federation made the announcement via its verified Twitter handle on Wednesday.
NFF said that Aina, who plays for Torino had picked up an injury during a domestic accident and would be unable to play.
NFF tweeted, “Torino of Italy wing-back Ola Aina is out of Sunday’s international friendly against Brazil. He picked up an injury after a domestic accident and will not be available.”
Nigeria will play Brazil in a high profile friendly on Sunday, October 13, 2019 in Singapore. The match will kick-off by 1pm Nigeria time.
