Arewa Local Government Council of Kebbi State has setup 12 man committee comprises of Fulani herdsmen, local farmers and security agencies to curb the Fulani and farmer crisis in the area.
Addressing newsmen yesterday, the Local Government Sole Administrator Engineer Abubakar B. Bunza said that the aim of the committee is to resolve fulani and farmers crisis in the area.
He explained further that the committee which was named as Fulani Dispute and Settlement Committee will be headed by the Council Chairman, while the District Head of Arewa will served as Vice chairman, Head of Veterinary section will also serve as secretary and security agencies, such as police, civil defence, vigilante, and others will served as members.
