The Secretary, FCT Health and Human Services Secretary (HHSS), Dr. Abubakar Tafida has said partnering with relevant stakeholders will improve and strengthen the health system in the Territory.

This was disclosed when Dr. Tafida received the Vice Chancellor Of Nile University of Nigeria Professor Dilli Dogo, during a recent courtesy visit in the Secretariat.

Tafida emphasized the need to strengthen and value  the partnership with relevant stakeholders so as to improve on services.         

According to him,  Nile University has been in partnership with the HHSS, which has attained a big milestone to the FCT Health sector.

Earlier, Professor Dilli  maintained that Nile University is committed to retaining and strengthen the existing partnership it has with the HHSS thus, one of the reasons for the visit was to inform the Secretary  that Nile University seeks to extend and convert the existing Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) it has with HHSS from a short term to a long term.

This, according to Dilli, is to enable the University achieve it’s vision of becoming a world class University with it’s MBBS Programme second to none.
