All is set for the 5th edition of the Northern Nigeria Peace Conference, Awards and Dinner, happening March 6, 2024 at Merit House, Maitama Abuja.
Themed: “Sustainable Peace, Security and Economic Growth In Northern Nigeria”, the annual event promotes unity and community development amongst northerners and those who stood out during this period.
According to the founder and CEO of Peace Ambassador Agency worldwide , Amb Kingsley Amafibe, he said the event is to honor and appreciate people who have contributed to the growth, peace and stability of the region.
He added that though not just the Hausa speaking people are honoured, he also revealed that people from other tribes who own businesses in various parts of the north and have contributed in one way or the other to the life of the people would also be recognised.
He said:
“This years event with the theme, Sustainable Peace, Security and Economic growth in Northern Nigeria is bringing personality across the north and environs to come rub minds of the dangers of insecurity and how to end it for a sustainable economic growth .
“You know, without peace , there won’t be economic growth. We’re honoring 25 personalities who have been committed to ensuring peace is sustained in the north.
” We also use the even to set an agenda to reposition the mindsets o the people of the north and how to cope in times of crisis. Our alumnus have been great and have continued to advise us on how to move the country and the north to a pedestal that would be recognised amongst the comity of nations, ” he added
