Hoodlums kill one person in Minna

Hoodlums in their numbers suspected to be illegal miners invaded MI Wushishi Housing Estate in Minna and attacked the residents killing one person and destroyed properties.
According to reports, the number of houses that were broke into is yet to be fully ascertained but six cars were destroyed.
It was confirmed that the hoodlums entered the area on Monday afternoon when most of the men went to work, leaving only women and children.
The hoodlums who are said to be allegedly illegal gold miners in the area had earlier threatened the residents that they should watch out for their return, asking them to vacate their residents sequel to the community’s complaint to the security agencies in the state.
The state Police Public Relations Officer PPRO, SP Wasiu Abiodun confirmed the incident that suspected illegal miners/thugs engaged in a fight and were attacking housing at MI Wushishi housing estate in Minna.
