Members of the northern caucus of the House of Representatives have pledged to complement the federal government’s effort at rebuilding the Tudun Biri community that was recently bombed by the military facilities worth about N350 million.
The leader of the caucus, Hon. Al Hassan Ado Doguwa, disclosed this when he led members of the caucus on a condolence visit to Kaduna on Monday.
He said the project will be in addition to a donation of about N45 million earlier made to victims of the bombing by the Speaker, House of Representatives, and the Kaduna State Caucus in the green chamber of the National Assembly.
According to him, the project will include blocks of classrooms, a clinic, a Police Post, a Solar Borehole, and solar electrification among others.
The former House Leader also announced that the three southern caucuses of the House of Representatives have decided to support the cause with a sum of N30 million.
Doguwa commended the Tinubu-led federal government for promptly reaching out to victims and for taking charge of the victims’ welfare.
The caucus further appreciates the government’s intention to rebuild the community and pledged to follow up with the federal government to ensure appropriate compensation for the victims and the community as promised by the federal government.
