Explosion in ‘Yamama village of Malumfashi local government in Katsina state has killed six children.
The incident which occured in the early morning of Saturday occured when then the children numbering about 11 went to a farm to collect weed for animal feed.
Sources from the area disclosed that five of the dead children were from the same family while the remaining injured five were taken to Malumfashi General hospital for treatment.
In a response, the Katsina police command spokesperson, SP Gambo Isah confirmed the incident.
However sources from the area revealed that the explosion may be from undetonated military explosive device.
