How Talban Kano died – Son

Alhaji Bala Garba A. D, one of the sons of the late Talban Kano, Alhaji Garba A. D., yesterday, described the death of his father as shocking, revealing that his father was healthy but slumped and died on their way to hospital.

Speaking to our reporter, Alhaji Bala, said his father suddenly slumped a day he was supposed to go to hospital for his routine medical check-up.

” My father’s death is sudden and shocking to us; because he died a day to be taken to hospital for his routine medical check-up. On the fateful day, there was no symptoms of illness in him but suddenly slumped. When we realised that he slumped down, we rushed him to Al-Khairat hospital but before we reached the hospital, he gave up in the evening”, he said

He also described the deceased as his mentor and role model, saying that he imitated his father’s lifestyle throughout his lifetime.

Alhaji Garba A. D., the Talba of Kano State, died on Tuesday evening, 5th August, 2009, after protracted and intermittent illness on his way to hospital.
