Hydroelectric Power Producing Areas Development Commission, HYPPADEC, Projects Monitoring Committee has expressed satisfaction with projects executed by the Commission in Niger state.
The Committee led by Prof. Saleh Galadima Kanam expressed satisfaction over the projects.
He said inspecting those projects was as good as executing them to ensure that they are carried out in the right place and the right people are benefitting from it.
Prof. Kanam inspected both ongoing and completed projects to include Solar Powered Boreholes, Solar street lights, Blocks of classrooms, office and toilets, as well as HYPPADEC Youth Transformation (YTP) centres.
The HYPPADEC Managing Director, Alhaji Abubakar Sadiq Yelwa, assured the communities of more interventions within the capacity of the commission and expressed satisfaction with strategic locations of most of the projects.
He said the commission will provide furniture and hand pumps for all the schools constructed and promised specific interventions to some communities to address their pressing challenges.
