The Managing Director, Hydro-Electric Power Producing Areas Development Commission (HYPPADEC), Alhaji Abubakar Sadiq Yalewa has said that the Commission will commit over N1b for rehabilitations of Yauri water treatment plant in Kebbi state.
Yalwa stated this yesterday in Yauri while fielding questions from newsmen shortly after the stakeholders meeting on the water project.
He added that, Yauri town has been facing perenial water shortage for the past twenty years which makes it difficult for the people to have access to portable water supply.
