The Taraba State Governor, Dr Agbu kefas has on Wednesday said he would not pay salary arrears to ghost workers of Taraba State University.
Kefas issued the warning in Jalingo during his interactive session with newsmen while marking his one year anniversary in office as the governor of the state.
He said that he had been paying salaries to the university lecturers at as when due, promising to clear the backlog of their salary arrears after staff verification.
The governor also promised to build parameter fences for the security of all schools in the state, added that 100,000 uniforms were ready for distribution to students as well as other kits.
He warned those who have being sabotaging the free education policy to desist as investigations were under way to unveil the saboteurs.
The governor promised to attract more investors in the state through the provision of infrastructure.
