A close aide to former Military President, General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida, Salman Yusuf has urged Nigerians to beware of internet fraudster using the name and picture of IBB to send wrong signals in the name of politics.
Malam Salman Yusuf in a statement issued and made available to Journalists in Minna, said the former Nigerian leader cannot send messages since he does not operate any social media account.
He declared that IBB has never owned nor operated any social media account, and he does not intend to operate any now or in the near future.
He added that a post on Facebook accounts bearing his photos and names are fake.
Yusuf noted that the fake accounts are the creation of identity thieves and cyber fraudster.
