IBB Varsity matriculates 5,493 students for 2020/21 academic session

The Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University Lapai has matriculated 

5,493 students out of 15,435 applicants that make the Institution as their first choice in their JAMB/ UTME for the session.

The Vice Chancellor, Professor Abu Kasim Adamu disclosed this at the 15th Matriculation ceremony for the new students of the institution at the main campus in Lapai.

Professor Adamu said that 4,703 students were admitted for regular degree programmes, 652 for part – time students and 137 students for long vacation training programme out of the total that were offered admission.

He further revealed that 64 students are to benefit from the Vice Chancellor’s Scholarship Award across various departments for their academic outstanding as best students in performance which covers one year registration fees and accommodation expenses.

The Vice Chancellor urged the new students to abide by all the rules and regulations and participate in lawful activities worthy in character and learning.
