The need to discourage medical tourism and boost healthcare services in Nigeria gained expression during commissioning of Igbinedion University Teaching Hospital Diagnostic Centre, Benin City.

The health facility will run for 24 hours every day and render services such as CT-Scan, X-ray, Ultrasound, Electrocardiography (ECG), Echocardiography (ECHO), Fertility Profiling.

The initiator of the project, Chief Gabriel Igbinedion, the Esama of Benin City, vowed to bring back the good old days when patients’ were always being referred from abroad to the hospital.
