Ighalo attracts Middle Eastern interest

Date:

Manchester United’s striker is close to the exit door and the Middle East could be his next destination.
The 31-year-old striker made a late deadline day move in January last year, and showed glimpses of scoring success before he eventually faded out after the arrival of Edinson Cavani in July.
After five goals and a single assist in 19 appearances, Man United are set to pass on offering a new contract when Ighalo’s contract expires at the end of January this year.
“According to Sky Sports, his time with the Red Devils will come to an end on 31 January and his next move could take him to the Middle East. Clubs in Qatar and Saudi Arabia are both said to be interested, while Ighalo is not against returning to his parent club, Shanghai Shenhua, where he is under contract until December 31,” confirmed 90 min.
