Former senator from Imo State, Ifeanyi Ararume, has declared that he has all it takes to dethrone the present Governor of the state, Rochas Okorocha.
Speaking yesterday after picking the PDP governorship nomination form in Abuja, Ararume said his intention to contest the election was borne out of the desire to take the state out of its present dire state of agony.
“Imo deserves better governance than it is presently having from the APC Governor, where all our hospitals are lacking in the basic amenities to sustain them. If Rochas could be elected as Governor, it would not require so much to also remove him through the electorates, as he has failed in providing succor to the people of the state”, he said.
He said, “The declaration is a popular view that emanated from the calls of the people of Imo state and I assure you that this would not tear the party apart”.
