The All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial flag bearer in Delta State in next month’s general elections, Olorogun O’tega Emerehor , has promised to bring his wealth of experience in the private sector to develop the entire state, assuring he would use his first 100 days in office to set aside N10 billion as small and medium sale business empowerment scheme for youth and women folk in the state if elected.

Olorogun Emerhor, gave the assurance in Agbor during the flag-off of APC gubernatorial campaign rally and presentation of flags to senatorial flag bearers from the three senatorial districts including Chief Halims Agoda (Delta central), Prince Yemi Emiko (Delta south) and Chief Kevin Njideka (Delta North ) at Agbor on Wednesday.

The gubernatorial flag bearer said he would bring the experience of his business ventures alongside experience of his running mate, Mr. V.O. Abanum who had stint in the management of central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to bear in the governance of state.

“As an entrepreneur of many years standing, I know how to turn the fortunes of the state around to be an industrialized state if voted into power, therefore , I appeal to you to vote APC across all level in Nigeria” he said.

He said the APC was coming to government to solve the problem of unemployment, insecurity and construction of roads among others in Nigeria, saying APC was the only solution for problems of Nigeria.

He also appealed to the people to vote for change of government across all levels by going to collect their Permanent Voters Cards (PVCs) for next month’s general elections.

An elder statesman and APC chieftain, Senator Spinner Okpozo who presented a god will message, said a lot needed to be done to transform Delta State.

He paid glowing tribute to his contemporary in the Midwest region, late Chief Humphrey Ewerebor for establishing the college of education and central Hospital, Agbor which have remained the only ones standing in the town till date.
