The embattled Chairman of Shiroro local government of Niger state, Comrade Suleiman Dauda Chukuba has insisted that he remained the only authentic council chairman, saying that due process was not followed and allegations of misappropriation was false.
He made the clarification yesterday in Kura the council headquarters during a press briefing.
He debunked the alleged abuse of office and public funds misappropriation and embezzlement.
Comrade Chukuba reiterated the he always followed due process before funds were released for a particular purpose, assuring to continue with his open door and transparent policy hence the approval of F & G Committee before withdrawal of funds.
