
The Abuja Original Inhabitants Youths Empowerment Organisation (AOIYEO), a group advocating for the rights and interests of the indigenous people of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
Has held a townhall meeting in Gwagwalada Area Council, with the call on the FCT and Federal Authority to implement the rights and Privelleges of the Indigenous people of FCT
The President of AOIYEO. Amb. Isaac David stated this at the weekend during the Orgànisation engagment with key stakeholders with the aim of Addressing the Core objective of Strengthening the indigenous community voices in key governance processes.
The FCT Stakeholders Assembly, an initiative of AOIYEO whose major responsibility is to foster good governance and accountability in the FCT, were highly represented in the TownHall Meeting.
The meeting witness the inauguration of the new executives of the Stàkeholder Assembly as the major highlight.
This project is advocating for the collective right of the indigenous people of the FCT. Supported by MacArthur through CHRICED.
