The Minister of Information and National Orientation, Alhaji Mohammed Idris, used the backdrop of an ongoing strategy meeting for Information Commissioners from APC-governed states in Maiduguri to inspect key legacy projects executed by Governor Babagana Umara Zulum.
Accompanied by his Borno State counterpart, Prof. Usman Tar, and the visiting commissioners, the minister’s tour on Wednesday highlighted the state’s development strides.
The delegation first visited one of the 104 newly constructed mega schools, a facility named after President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
They commended its modern amenities, including spacious classrooms, laboratories, libraries, and sporting facilities, all designed to provide quality education for children, many affected by the long-standing insurgency.
