Africa’s innovation landscape is set for a major shift as the Innovation & Technology Summit (InnTech Summit 2025) holds next month at the Shehu Musa Yar’Adua Centre, Abuja.
With the theme, “AI, Digital Economy, and Sustainability,” the summit will gather government officials, private sector leaders, development partners, academics, startups, and investors to examine how artificial intelligence and digital innovation can fast-track inclusive and sustainable growth across the continent.
Organisers said the 2025 edition would promote cross-sector collaboration and deepen conversations on using AI to diversify economies, strengthen productivity, and build resilient digital systems that empower citizens and businesses.
It will also focus on aligning technological advancements with environmental sustainability and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, while positioning Africa more competitively in the global digital ecosystem.
Chair of InnTech Summit, Ahmed Mansur, said Africa was “on the threshold of a new era driven by technology and innovation,” adding that the platform would help align the continent’s digital transformation with sustainable economic expansion.
Speakers expected at the event include the Chief Executive of Verraki Partners, Niyi Yusuf; the Chief Executive of the Nigerian Economic Summit Group, Dr Tayo Aduloju; and National Consultant at UN Women, Hansatu Adegbite.
Others are the Chief Executive of iCentra, Taopheek Babayeju; Cisco’s Country Manager, AbdulAziz Saidu; Chief Executive of PIPA USA, Lola Adey; Regional Director of Avanti, Reuben Oshomah; Chief Executive of ipNX Business, Oluseyi Lala; and Chief Executive of Fiducia International, Chukwuka Amadife.
Also listed are the Chief Executive of Management Edge, Rex Abitogun, and Policy Director at Women’s World Banking, Stephen Ambore.
According to the organisers, the summit remains open to institutions seeking partnerships to advance innovation, sustainability, and digital inclusion.
The event will feature keynote presentations, panel discussions, fireside chats, exhibitions, and networking sessions showcasing solutions and success stories across sectors.
