The Kaduna State Vigilance Service, KADVS, in collaboration with Operation Safe Haven, Jos, have retrained nine hundred and seventy-four men and women of the Service from Southern Kaduna on modern tactics and ways to guard against crimes and criminalities in the area.
Speaking yesterday during the passing out Parade of the trainees in Kafanchan, the Commander, commanding Operation Safe Haven Jos, Major General Ibrahim Ali, said the move was to equip and expose the men and women of the Kaduna State Vigilance Service on how to compliment the activities of Government and other security agencies fighting crimes and criminalities in the society.
While challenging the trainees to make good use of the training they have acquired from the military in the past one month, the OPSH Commander reiterated the commitment of the command to continue to support and explore ways of protecting the lives and property of the People at all times.
