Five hundred women have been employed by an Interfaith centre to carry out sanitary duties in community clinics that were upgraded to primary health care centres in Kaduna.

The Chief Executive Officer of Innovative Consultancy and Agricultural Service (ICAS), Dr. Mohammed Bawa disclosed this yesterday during a workshop for the next set of beneficiaries of the Interfaith Governance Project.

Bawa, who applauded the project embarked upon by the Interfaith Mediation Centre (IMC), said it has impacted positively on the lives of people in the communities and can do more if government at all levels partner with the center.
