Senator Florence Ita -Giwa a delegate at the ongoing National Conference, has expressed her confidence in the ability of the delegates at the conference to tackle and resolve all the nagging issues confronting the nation which necessitated the hosting of the conference in the first place.
She reiterated her conviction that the calibre of the delegates to the national conference is eminently equipped to put the nation back on course.
She was very optimistic that the conference will address the thorny issue of the ceding of Bakassi and the loss of a whole land mass of her state thereby causing untold hardship to Cross River State.
Ita Giwa commended the media for their enthusiasm they have exhibited and appealed to them to ensure the success of the conference by reporting accurately.
She added that the upbeat mood of the delegates and the can – do atmosphere pervading this present conference is an indication of the seriousness of the delegates to positively trash out all issues, regardless of their sensitivity.
She also assured Nigerians of her determination to join forces with other distinguished delegates at the conference to forge peaceful and sustainable way ahead for our beloved country Nigeria.
