Jaiz Bank announced a profit of over N11 billion at the end of December 2023, reflecting a 67% increase from the previous year.
The announcement was made by the Chairman of the Board, Mohammed Mustapha Bintube, at the bank’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) held in Abuja, yesterday.
Bintube highlighted the bank’s impressive growth in key financial indicators in 2023 and expressed confidence in sustaining and exceeding this performance in the coming years.
He acknowledged the bank’s consistent dividend payout despite challenging economic conditions.
The Chairman also emphasized the bank’s strong half-year performance in 2024, exceeding the full-year profit for 2023.
He reaffirmed the bank’s commitment to increasing shareholder dividends and leveraging digital channels to enhance customer experience.
Bintube expressed gratitude to loyal customers and commended outgoing directors and advisory committee members for their contributions to the bank’s success.
He reiterated the bank’s vision of becoming the most successful ethical bank in Nigeria and Africa.
The Managing Director, Haruna Musa, discussed the bank’s expansion plans, focusing on a balanced approach between digital and physical channels to ensure effective growth.
