The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the commencement of sales of application forms for the 2026 Direct Entry (DE) registration.
In a notice released on Monday, March 2, 2026, the examination body informed prospective Direct Entry candidates that the application process has officially begun and will run until Saturday, April 25, 2026.

According to JAMB, the registration service will only be available at its offices nationwide. The board advised interested applicants to visit the nearest JAMB office to complete their registration within the stipulated period.

Direct Entry admission is designed for candidates who already possess advanced qualifications such as National Diploma (ND), National Certificate of Education (NCE), IJMB, JUPEB, or equivalent credentials, and wish to gain admission directly into the second year of a university programme.

Prospective applicants are urged to begin their registration early to avoid last-minute rush before the closing date.
