Jangebe abduction: Hoodlums attempt assassination of Zamfara Speaker – PDP group claims

A coalition of facebook users under the umbrella of the Zamfara State ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has called on the security agencies to with immediate effect arrest and prosecute a former Director General over alleged attempt to assassinate the State Speaker House of Assembly, hon. Nasiru Mu’azu Magarya.
In a press conference (today) Sunday at the state headquarters of the PDP in Gusau the state capital, the Chairman of the coalition, Aminu Mohammed a.k.a Lecturer, said the coalition has a formidable evidence that, the former Director General, Bello Bakyasuwa, was the mastermind of the attack on the Speaker’s convoy in Jangebe.
“We have indisputable evidence at hand, that on the day of returning the released school girls of Jangebe to their parents in Jangebe town led by the Speaker Zamfara House of Assembly, the former Director General had spearheaded the move for the alleged assassination of Mr. Mu’azu Magarya.
“This press conference was informed by the unguarded utterances published in various national dailies (Peoples Daily excluded) by the said former Director General, which he allegedly attributed the killing of two persons as a result of an attack on the convoy of Mr. Speaker of the state.
“The former DG further called on security agencies to embark on an immediate investigation of the Speaker for allegedly having hand in the killing of the two protesters on the day he led the State Government’s delegation to handover the released schoolgirls to their awaiting beloved parents, Aminu Mohammed has stressed.
It would be recalled that, the former Director General had recently insisted in a press conference that, the Speaker of the State Assembly should be arrested and grilled by the security agencies over the killing of innocent lives while they waited to receive their released daughters amongst the abducted school girls.
