The Jama’atu Izalatil Bid’a Wa’ikamatis Sunnah (JIBWIS), has applauded President Muhammadu Buhari’s agricultural policy which has encouraged millions of Nigerians to go into farming thereby strengthening economy of the country.
Sheik Sani Yahaya Jingir who is the chairman Ulama’u council of the group made the applaud over the weekend in Jos, the Plateau state capital.
He said, “the policy of president Buhari on agriculture in Nigeria has indeed made us to go into it and that has yielded positive result looking at the harvest of farm produce in the last two years. We really applaud the policy.”
While applauding the federal government, Jingir further called on farmers across the country to sell their farm produce in an affordable price, saying that the Almighty Allah would often bring more blessings to those who sale their goods at a lower and affordable prices.
The Chairman however commanded the president for ending the recent agitation by IPOP and Boko Haram insurgency, calling on FG to investigate the recent illegal arms importation that has been posing security threat in Nigeria.
