As part of his relief support to Jigawa flood victims, the Senator representing Jigawa central Alhaji Muhammad Sabo Nakudu donated the sum of N3.5 million to flood victims in the state.
This was announced by the chairman Dutse Emirate Development Association Alhaji Isa Jibrin Gantsa while submitting the sum of N500,000 to Dutse local government chairman for the victims in the area.
He explained that, the Senator donated the money to be distributed to flood victims across seven local government in his senatorial zone as relief.
The chairman of DEDA who described the donation as relief said that, the Senator also sympathize with victims and pray for God’s protection ahead.
According him, each out of seven local government that include Dutse, Birnin Kudu, Buji, Kiyawa Jahun, Miga and Gwaram recieved the donation of 500,000 from the Senator.
He then commended the senator for the donation and urged others to emulate from him.
While making his remarks after receiving the donation on behalf of Dutse victims, the chairman Dutse local government Alhaji Bala ‘Yargaba appreciated the effort and promised to deliver the donation to the appropriate flood victims in the area.
