President Goodluck Jonathan has approved re-deployment of five permanent secretaries.

This was contained in a statement issued in Abuja by the Director of Communication in the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Dr. Tope Ajakaiye.

According to the statement, Mr. Linus Awete, presently in the office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) (General Services Office), was deployed to the Ministry of Health while Mallam Mohammed Bukar was deployed from SGF, (Special Duties) to SGF (General Services Office).

Mrs. Winifred Oyo-Ita, formerly in the Ministry of Special Duties and Intergovernmental Affairs was deployed to the Ministry of Science and Technology.

Others are Mrs. Rabi Jimeta, from the Ministry of Science and Technology to the Ministry of Environment, while Mr. Taye Haruna from the Ministry of Environment to the Ministry of Special Duties and Intergovernmental Affairs.

The statement said the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Alhaji Bukar Aji, had directed that all handing and taking over ceremonies be completed on or before Wednesday, April 16.
